Meet the fine-looking finalists in the first ever 'Face of Solihull' model search.

The shortlisted seven were selected during open casting sessions as part of the Solihull Fashion Week events across the town centre, which took place April 21-24.

More than 50 people attended the casting sessions in the Mell Square Style Arena to have photographs taken and meet modelling experts, including representatives from a leading agency and prestigious Midlands Fashion Awards ceremony.

The finalists then met the judging panel that will now decide on the winning male and female before the winning duo takes part in fashion shoots for the next edition of InSolihull magazine, which hits the streets on June 29th.

Sitting on the judging panel were Melanie Palmer, Exceutive Director, Solihull BID, Alan Sharman, the Alan Sharman Agency, Jenny Eason, founder, Midlands Fashion Awards, and Amy Hubbard, Marketing Assistant, Solihull BID.

Birmingham-based Alan Sharman Agency works with some of the UK's leading casting directors and fashion brands. Mr Sharman said: "I really enjoyed working alongside the BID on this event, meeting some lovely people on the day.

"Picking the finalists wasn't easy but we did come to a conclusion after a group discussion."

The first ever Solihull Fashion Week was supported by Mell Square Shopping Centre and John Lewis, and featured a variety of Spring/Summer style insights, hair demos, talks and catwalk displays across the town centre and Ramada Hotel.
