Solihull BID

Last Thursday, we were lucky enough to be invited along to the launch party for the opening of The Beech House on the Warwick Road. They have been working on the building for nearly three months, leaving us in suspense to see the final finish - and what a transformation! We were greeted to a red carpet and handed a glass of fizz - we felt like celebrities! Trees and an urban style garden has replaced the tarmac. On the front lawn, they have lots of deckchairs with cool and quirky boxes acting as tables with spacious terraces and pergolas with plenty more alfresco seating.

With delicious canapés floating around, friendly staff, a huge range of drinks (the mojito was our favourite), a beautiful interior, an amazing double tepee, glittering lights and an open kitchen, where else would you want to spend your free time?

The food was to die for: the meatballs had to be our favourite, followed closely by, well, just about everything else. We will definitely be going back there to sample the menu. It was good to see so many people from Solihull celebrating the opening of what we are sure will be a great venue for Solihull’s town centre.

The tepee tent at the back of The Beech House is perfect for private events and parties. Decorated with mini lights, its own private bar in a recycled shipping container and lovely wooden tables and seating - it’s the perfect venue.

We had such a great night at the launch and cannot wait to return – luckily they are open all day from 8:00 in the morning until midnight (apart from Sundays). Take a look at a few of the images and go and try it out.
