Family Action are looking for ambitious volunteers for one day a week for a minimum of two hours, for our new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support (SENDIAS) in Solihull. The service will provide impartial information, advice and support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities up to the age of 25, and their parents and carers. Its key aim is to ensure that these children and young people, and their parents and carers feel empowered to be actively involved in decisions about the support they need from education, health and social care.
We're looking for:
As a volunteer you will require a DBS Check, receive a full induction, training and support, and will be managed and supervised by the service co-ordinator.
