Business Host and Project Support
Hi I'm Julie. I am able to bring an array of skills to the very varied role of Business Host. My early years saw me fully trained as a plain clothed Store Detective in a large Department Store, where I was also an active First Aider. Since then I've been in Retail Management where I've honed my customer service skills.
While I don't live in Solihull, I've worked here in the town centre for Solihull BID since 2016 and have enjoyed being part of a flourishing business and retail community. I look forward to meeting more of the people who make Solihull such a vibrant place to be.
Hi, I’m Rachael, I’ve worked in Solihull for the past five years in retail including in the lovely Touchwood. I have loved being a new member of the BID, working alongside a great team. I am constantly learning and embracing new challenges working with the Solihull business community and all that the town centre has to offer.
Being a Business Host means I have the opportunity to be hands on and face to face with the local community and BID businesses. I am looking forward to building a great working relationship with the whole of the town centre.
Outside of work, I'm a Mom so I’m hands on and love to get involved! Music is my go to and I love to dance. My motto is 'there is always tomorrow to make a better today'. Always remember to smile - it can make someone's day!
I come from a security background and really enjoy this line of work. It keeps me fit and sociable.
My day to day role involves helping our businesses with any issues they may have. I am a football fan and also used to play. I also like socialising with my friends and family.
Well Being Coordinator
I am Misty, I have a nominated role as the Well Being Coordinator for the BID team and relevant visitors. It’s a tough job but the extra biscuits and occasional cheese and ham sandwiches make it more bearable.
I enjoy long country walks, annoying small fluffy dogs, and love my collection of designer collars. Feel free to contact me on my Instagram account @MistySolihullBID or email my housemate below.
