Turtle Bay Caribbean restaurant and bar is set to open its doors in Solihull on Tuesday 31st May 2016. The Turtle Bay restaurant will be bringing a brand new Caribbean dining and drinking experience to Solihull for the very first time. The restaurant aims to be as bold, fun, and bursting with life as its sister site in Birmingham - and every bit as tasty!
The 210 seater Solihull restaurant will be located on Station Road right in the heart of the town centre. It has created around 50 jobs.
Turtle Bay celebrates the lively, colourful, soulful and delicious experiences that the Caribbean has to offer - from rich and explosive flavours to laid back 'liming'.
It is designed to create the perfect atmosphere for enjoying food and drink, and its look is as vibrant and lively as you might expect - with each restaurant designed bespoke for it's location.
The Solihull restaurant will be no exception and visitors can expect an interior design to capture the joy and beauty of the Caribbean, as well as the urban, smart nature of Solihull itself.
Having reclaimed wooden furniture, vibrant mosaics, colourful and eclectic murals, quirky feature lighting, an open kicthen 'jerk shack', pleniful outdoor seating and a whole wall created from speakers!
The central island bar, and indoor 'veranda' style drinking spaces mean that those who just want to enjoy the, now legendary, Turtle Bay happy hour can do so without dining too.
Turtle Bays happy hour lasts from 11.30am to 7pm and then starts up again at 10pm - ALL of their cocktailsare available 2-4-1 during that time!
Ajith Jayawickrema, Founder of turtle Bay Restaurants said: "We have been keen to open in Solihull for some time, so we're delighted to have secured such a great spot in the town centre.
