Santa will be helping get the festive season in Solihull off to a flying start when he arrives in style at his enchanting Touchwood grotto this November.

On Saturday 18th November, Santa will be swapping his sleigh for a state-of-the art Tesla Model X, for a spectacular all dancing arrival. Those who come along from 1.30pm will be able to welcome the man himself and have the opportunity to experience sitting with Santa in his new top-of-the range transportation.

Following the fun, Santa will be taking up residence in his enchanting new grotto until Saturday 24th December, to give the region’s good boys and girls the chance to say hello and receive an early Christmas gift.

What’s more, as part of the centre’s festive celebrations, Touchwood’s iconic polar bear, Presley, will also be making a return, complete with frost and plenty of sparkle, to offer the perfect setting for a festive family photo.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “We are all very excited for the arrival of Santa and the return of Presley. It’s set to be a fantastic event that will get everyone in the seasonal spirit.

“However, the fun doesn’t stop there. This year, we are also offering our guests a true treat for the senses, to help them to rediscover magical Christmas traditions through the lens of today’s technology. We have a host of exciting surprises in store for guests visiting the centre over the festive period, so make sure you join us! After all, we believe, do you?”

Guests can enjoy a relaxing shopping experience in Touchwood this Christmas thanks to extended opening hours during December.  From Monday 11th December stores will remain open until 9pm on weekdays and 7pm on Saturdays until 23rd December.
