Saturday 8th December
Add an extra dash of magic this Christmas by visiting The Snowman at Touchwood.
As the big day draws closer, Touchwood is giving guests the chance to enjoy a special Christmas experience when the snowman of all snowmen arrives in centre on Saturday 8th December.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Raymond Briggs’ classic Christmas book, the beloved character will be donning his iconic green hat and scarf to spread festive cheer around the centre. The Snowman will be available at intervals throughout the day to greet old and young guests alike – come along and snap the perfect Christmas selfie!
As well as meeting The Snowman, Touchwood is hosting a whole array of festive treats to help you have a very merry Christmas. Little ones can visit Santa’s grotto to pick up a treat and meet the man himself, before heading to the magical Snow Pit. Open in Poplar Arcade and filled with artificial snow, the Snow Pit makes all those White Christmas dreams come true.
Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “We want to make sure we help our guests embrace the spirit of the holiday season with a series of delights. The Snowman is the epitome of Christmas and we can’t wait to welcome him in centre!”
And to start Christmas in style, a new food concept is launching in Theatre Square from 22nd November - ‘Touchwood Street Eats.’ Set around a giant Tipi, an array of street food sellers will be offering their mouth-watering cuisines every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 noon. Each week there will be something different to surprise and delight diners who want to enjoy a new experience in the heart of the town.
Guests can enjoy a relaxing shopping experience in Touchwood this Christmas thanks to extended opening hours during December.
