Solihull's Tap & Tandoor is celebrating its first anniversary next month with an extended weekend celebration - including a birthday beer festival.
The independent Indian gastro pub which launched on the Warwick Road on 14 June last year, will start four days of fun activities on Thursday 13 June.
A private drinks and canape reception on Thursday evening will be followed by 'First Birthday Fizz Night' with half price bottles of Prosecco and 2-4-1 on all drinks on the newly launched cocktail menu, available from 5pm until close on Friday 14 June.
Saturday 15 June is the day for birthday beers with the arrival of a dozen extra barrels for the pub's first beer festival in support of Solihull Round Table.
Set up in the beer garden, the day will start at noon, and feature an extensive range of ales from Alcester based Purity Brewing as well as 'weird and wonderful beers' from around the world.
Drinks tokens can be purchased in advance at a discounted price via www.tapandtandoor.co.uk or purchased on the day.
The celebrations will culminate on Father's Day when the pub welcomes Dads for a free pint! Book a table to dine and enjoy a stunning home-style curry or a mixed-grill with your family and Dad's first drink* is complimentary. Of course, Solihull Race for Life runners and supporters also welome.
Ajay Kenth, Tap & Tandoor owner said: "We're delighted to be celebrating our 12 month anniversary in Solihull. The first year for any business is very important and ours has been incredibly successful - including our first award, 'Best Independent Restaurant', in the Solihull BID Excellence Awards 2018.
"We would like to thank our customers for their loyal support and look forward to welcoming friends, family, businesses and local people to join us for our birthday weekend."
