The Marie Curie Solihull Hospice has received a gift from Plum Personnel as part of their Charity Gift initiative.

The team at local recruitment company Plum Personnel based in Solihull town centre nominated the local charity and instead of buying greeting cards and postage at Christmas, the Directors Julie Whitehouse and Susie Ankrett chose to donate to the local charity.

Lindsey Atkins who heads up the Temporary Division at Plum Personnel said: “We chose Marie Curie as our Charity of the Year for 2019 and with the support of our clients and our candidates we are planning future fund raising activities, events and challenges to raise more money for this worthwhile cause.”

"As a local company we are committed to supporting the local communities. We have raised and donated money for other local charities over the past 17-years and feel privileged to be able to support Marie Curie,” Lindsey added.

Rachel Nash, Community Fundraiser for Marie Curie said: “This donation from Plum Personnel is a welcome boost and it will help us to continue providing much needed nursing care for people and their families living with any terminal illness at home and in our Solihull Hospice. We would like to thank the team at Plum Personnel’s for nominating Marie Curie.”
