An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an additional person to join Solihull’s Business Improvement District team as project administrator.

Fixed term 12-month contract with potential to become a permanent role thereafter.
27.5 hours per week.
Hours are 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays with day off Tuesday.
A total of 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata.
Salary of £18,600 per annum.
The Project Administrator will be asked to manage the commercialisation activity in Solihull town centre. This will include booking musicians/buskers and other traders and activities to come to the town centre. The Project Administrator will also manage the current buskers/traders/activities that come into the town centre. The successful candidate will be expected to assist the rest of the Solihull BID team with administrative support when necessary.
You will primarily be required to work at the Solihull BID office based in the town centre, and on site in the town centre. The role also offers free on-site parking.
Flexibility in working occasional weekends for events will be required outside your existing rota.
The Project Administrator must have experience in office administration, clerical functions and data input. Experience in project coordination and record keeping would also be beneficial.
A background in working in events and with performance artists would also be beneficial but not mandatory, and a minimum of two years administrative experience is required.
The candidate must be fully proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Word and Excel and be able to produce reports accurately. The candidate must have some experience in dealing with artists/traders/businesses/customers etc on a face-to-face basis.
