Solihull-based shopping centre, Mell Square is set to welcome its latest retailer to Drury Lane, with the arrival of The Vines Supply Company (TVSC).
Having been successfully trading online as an established business for the last four years, selling and promoting UK based board sports brands within skate, surf and snowboard, this is TVSC’s first brick and mortar retail store.
The Vines will be opening on Saturday 9th March, complete with a launch event between 11am and 3pm. Shoppers are invited to visit the new store and enjoy music by DJs Jordan Lott and Anthony Dennis O'Boyle, plus complimentary beers courtesy of Silhill Brewery.
Rob Hemus, asset director for IM Properties, owners of Mell Square, said: “It’s fantastic to see a well-established independent, online retailer, further develop its business and choose Mell Square as the location for its first physical store. The Vines is a brilliant addition to Drury Lane and we are really looking forward to welcoming them to the Square”.
Paul Vale, managing director of TVSC Retail Limited, said: “In the current climate there is so much negativity around retail, particularly when it comes to the high street, so with the arrival of The Vines we are aiming to restore hope, especially for independent businesses. We can’t wait for our doors to open and to meet some new faces.”
The Vines offers a unique shopping experience, including well known skate and surf companies such as HUF, Brixton, Deus Ex Machina and Magenta, as well as skateboard subsidiaries of Levi’s and Adidas. The store will be open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday.
