Miniature golf is getting an urban twist at Touchwood as its first ever Scrap Yard Golf course opens.
The 9-hole crazy course launches on Saturday 27th July, offering guests a truly unique setting to show off their putting skills. Located within the Atrium, groups can go for glory whilst immersed in a cool scrap yard theme come rain or shine!
There’s no need to book in advance, and at only £5 each it’s the perfect option for a spontaneous family day out, or an evening of entertainment with friends. What’s more, Touchwood will donate £1 per person to Cure Leukaemia, the centre’s nominated charity.
Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “With the launch of Scrap Yard Golf we’re offering guests even more of a reason to visit the centre this summer. The crazy course offers a fun twist on the family-favourite activity, we’re sure it’s going to be a huge hit!”
Practicing putting can build up an appetite, and the beauty of housing the course in centre means that, following a game, there are plenty of places for guests to treat themselves to a well-deserved snack or meal.
Opening hours for Scrap Yard Golf are 11am - 8pm on Monday-Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sundays. Cash payments are accepted as well as card.
There are also a host of other free activities at Touchwood’s Costa-Del-Solihull, the urban beach. A full programme of events runs until the end of the holidays including mask-making, music and dance performances, storytelling and much more. Head to the beach every weekend to join in the fun.
