Touchwood Solihull is set to reopen its doors on Wednesday 2nd December, just in time for shoppers to bag the perfect gifts to ‘wow’ their loved ones this Christmas.
Solihull shoppers will be welcomed back to the popular shopping destination next week, which is now adorned in its show-stopping Christmas decorations. More than 70 retailers, spanning fashion, toys, homeware and gifts will be back in business and fully stocked with the latest festive goodies.
Lucy Burnett, Marketing Manager at Touchwood, said: “We’re eagerly waiting to open fully next week and for everyone to enjoy the festivities. The centre is looking beautifully festive and is ready to come alive again with the arrival of our guests. In a year of uncertainty and change, it’s comforting to know that some things will always remain the same: community, family, Christmas spirit and goodwill.
“Allowing our guests to shop and celebrate the season safely is at the heart of our reopening plans. As well as the usual safety measures such as masks and hand sanitising, we constantly monitor the centre capacity to ensure that we’re never overcrowded and that social distancing can be maintained. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests next week.”
The reopening of the Solihull shopping centre is set to spread some much-needed Christmas cheer ahead of the festive season. Extended shopping hours will also come into effect once the centre is fully reopened. Shops will be open from 9am - 8pm Wednesday and Thursday next week (2nd - 3rd December) and then from 9am - 7pm Monday - Saturday, with the exception of Thursday, which will see the centre open until 8pm. Sunday hours will remain 11am - 5pm.
In line with the latest coronavirus safety measures, guests will be asked to wear facemasks at all times, maintain two-metre social distancing and the one-way system, as well as regularly wash and sanitise their hands, in line with the latest tier 3 Government guidance.
