- Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government announces £20 million new funding to help businesses across England get back on track. Small and medium sized businesses in England can access grants between £1,000 - £5,000 for new equipment and technology and specialist advice.
- In England, you must wear a face covering by law in the following settings: public transport; indoor transport hubs; shops and supermarkets; indoor shopping centres; banks, building societies, and post offices.
- Businesses including Bowling alleys, Indoor skating rinks, Casinos, Exhibition halls and conference centres can re-open on 15th August.

Solihull BID has secured a new five-year term representing the town centre following a successful renewal ballot of 457 member businesses. The confidential postal ballot conducted by UK Engage closed on October 31.
A total of 90.35% voted in favour of the Solihull BID continuing, with 96.27% in rateable value. The turnout was 56.89%.

Solihull-based Living Space Housing has re-forecasted its business plan, in order to ramp up the production of affordable homes over the next two years. The company is delivering 580 affordable houses, apartments and bungalows, with a total value of £72m across the Midlands, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire.
