    We need your help…

The Solihull Business Improvement District is the foundation on which we can build an even greater town centre for all.

    Melanie Palmer

    Chief Executive

For the past 14 years, we’ve grown, inspired and innovated. Resulting in a reduction in crime, increase in footfall and the introduction of a stunning events calendar, plus much more.

All BIDS are democratically elected every five years. Businesses in the BID catchment area (which is the town centre) review the business plan and projects before having the opportunity to vote yes or no to having a BID in the area. It is a simple but effective method of creating a microclimate of business support, communication, specialist security, innovative events, and direct marketing.

Solihull BID is one of the leading BIDs in the region. I have the privilege to lead the Solihull BID team and hold the position of regional chair for the association of town and city management, and founder and chair of BID Central.

To continue our unique success story into a fourth term (2025-2030) please help us to continue to shape our projects in line with your needs, let us know what your priorities are for Solihull, ensuring our core values resonate within a lively, safe, welcoming, and unique Town centre.

Please read on and complete the short survey, just 6 questions.

Those who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to be in with a chance to win a £150 Touchwood voucher.

    The Survey

      2. What area of the BID projects are a priority to you and your business?
