Winning Strategies Beyond The Field

The next Business Club event will be held on Thursday, 30th January 2025, at Solihull Moors Football Club. This exciting gathering will feature inspiring talks from renowned sports figures: former Premier League footballers Stephen Ward and Roger Johnson, alongside endurance athlete Sean Conway. They will share insights from their atheltic careers and explore how the skills they developed in sports have been successfully applied to their current business ventures. In addition, guests will enjoy refreshments and lunch provided by the local butchers, Eric Lyon Ltd.

Below is an itinerary off the day:

11:45- Arrival and check in, with tea and coffee provided. There will also be a chance to enter the Business Club raffle with all funds raised going to Cure Leukaemia.

12:00- Event will start and guest will be treated with talks from Ultramarathon and world record holder Sean Conway, as well as ex premier league footballers Stephen Ward and Roger Johnson. The trio will discuss the skills and strategies they learnt in their sporting fields and used them for business success.

1:15- Networking and mingling with a buffet lunch which will be provided by local butchers Eric Lyons.

It promises to be an incredibly insightful afternoon, with open networking and a buffet lunch thrown in for good measure!
