We braved Storm Hannah to bring Solihull’s Fashion Secret to the heart of the town. Sponsored by Mell Square Shopping Centre, the event was enjoyed by people of all ages and it’s no surprise as there really was something for everyone!
There were free goodies, fantastic offers and prizes, tips on styling, hair and makeup, live music from Sugar Sweet Duo and even some tasty food courtesy of Digbeth Dining Club.
Our pop-up unit on Drury Arcade looked fantastic and was home to a number of our brilliant retailers from Solihull town centre including New Look, Perspective Opticians, Hotter, House of Fraser, Boots, Neal’s Yard Remedies, Lesley Ashworth, Regis, Lush, AB Optics, Alexander James and John Lewis & Partners.
We also had our demonstration stage in Mell Square and once again, some of Solihull’s finest stores came out in force to showcase themselves.
Regis, Brides of Solihull, Guerlain, Alexander James, Lesley Ashworth, John Lewis & Partners, Bobbi Brown, Marks & Spencer, James Bushell, New Look, Estee Lauder from Boots, Dyson and GANT all helped us put on a show throughout the day.
The likes of Molton Brown, Rieker, ECCO, Everyman Barbers, GANT and John Lewis & Partners also got in the mood by putting on in-store events to draw customers in.
Touchwood also participated in a fantastic weekend, putting on multiple fashion shows as well as bringing Love Island star and Dancing On Ice contestant Wes Nelson to the centre – he had plenty of fans queuing up for a selfie!
All in all, it was a fantastic day of fashion, styling, music and food that showed Solihull really does have it all!
Solihull’s Fashion Secret gave us the opportunity to showcase our business to a wide audience, some of which were not aware of us. All in all it was a great day!
